Nicholas Hiivala

Nicholas Hiivala is a seasoned clinical science professional with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Clinical Science at Endotronix since May 2021, Nicholas previously held roles including Medical Affairs at Medtronic from December 2017 to May 2021 and Medical Education at HeartWare Inc from July 2015 to December 2017, where a notable achievement included developing an educational road show for cardiovascular professionals. Prior experience includes serving as an Artificial Heart Engineer at the University of Maryland Medical Center from 2010 to July 2015, where Nicholas innovated a surgical planning method using computed tomography angiography and provided essential support for ventricular assist device procedures. Nicholas holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
