Julie Friedman has a long and varied career in the pharmaceutical industry. Julie began their career in 1992 as a Research Associate Director in the General's Office at Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem. Julie then worked as a CRA at Pharmabest (BMS Israel) in 1994. In 1997, they became an Associate Director of Biomarker Project Management at Bristol-Myers Squibb. In 2007, they moved to Takeda Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Project Manager. In 2008, they joined Genentech Research and Early Development (a member of the Roche Family) as a Group Project Manager. In 2012, they became an Associate Director of Project and Lifecycle Management at Medivation. In 2014, they moved to Acerta Pharma BV as a Senior Director of Program Management. In 2020, they joined Iconic Therapeutics, Inc. as Vice President of Operations and Programs and Vice President of Alliance and Program Management. Most recently, in 2022, they became Vice President of Therapeutic Operations at ENDPOINT HEALTH.
Julie Friedman began their educational journey at McKinley Sr. High from 1980 to 1983. Julie then attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1983 to 1987, graduating with a BSN in Nursing. Following this, they attended Emory University from 1989 to 1991, earning an MPH in International Program Planning. In 2007, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the PMI.
