Hiroshi Sakuma

Hiroshi Sakuma serves as the Chief Cooperation and International Officer on the Management Board at Eneco since March 2019. Prior to Eneco, Hiroshi held several key positions at Mitsubishi Corporation, including Adviser to the President, CEO, where expertise in regulatory changes in the power industry across Japan, Europe, and the US was provided. Additional roles at Mitsubishi Corporation encompassed Group CEO of the Global Environment & Infrastructure Business Group and Senior Vice President and Division COO of the New Energy & Power Generation Division, overseeing various power generation projects and infrastructure investments. Earlier experience includes serving as General Director at Chiyoda Corporation and President at Diamond Generating Corporation. Hiroshi began a career at Mitsubishi Corporation in 1980 as General Manager of Power Systems Investment after earning a Bachelor's degree in engineering from The University of Tokyo in 1980.
