Sipho van der Putten

Sipho van der Putten is an accomplished data science and technology leader with extensive experience in various sectors. Currently serving as Chapter Lead for Data Science and Analytics at Eneco since January 2024, Sipho has previously held prominent roles including Chief Technology Officer at Roamler and Invictus Capital, where the latter focused on utilizing blockchain technology for alternative investments. As Chief Data Scientist at Absa Group, Sipho established and led a data science team to drive AI and machine learning initiatives across the organization. Earlier career highlights include managing projects at KPMG Nederland, leading a software development team at Real Impact Analytics, and completing a PhD in Gravitational Waves at NIKHEF. Sipho holds a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Amsterdam.
