Alessio de Marzo

Alessio De Marzo is a highly experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Head of Solar Design at Enel Green Power since February 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing the global design of solar power plants. Prior to this role, Alessio managed the Engineering unit for Energy Storage Design at Enel Group from December 2019 to January 2022, focusing on grid-tied Energy Storage Systems. Alessio's extensive tenure at Enel Green Power from January 2013 to November 2019 involved designing utility-scale Energy Storage Systems and new business projects within renewable energy, as well as holding positions that encompassed innovation management and technological scouting. Earlier experience includes work as a Research Engineer at Enel Ingegneria e Ricerca S.p.A, focusing on concentrated solar power plants. Alessio holds an Executive Corporate Master from SDA Bocconi and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli studi Roma TRE.
