Alfonso Martin

Alfonso Martin is an experienced Project Development Manager at Enel Green Power, focusing on renewable energy projects in Spain since September 2021. Responsibilities include managing greenfield projects, co-development, mergers and acquisitions, and overseeing construction and commercial operation across various technologies such as solar and wind, often in combination with battery and green hydrogen integration. Prior to Enel, Alfonso held positions at Naturgy and Gas Natural Fenosa, leading the development of over 500 MW of renewable energy across Spain and Latin America, as well as managing significant investments in electrical distribution projects in Panama. Alfonso has a strong background in industrial engineering, with educational qualifications including an engineer's degree from Universidad de Jaén and a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
