Fabio Giammanco

Fabio Giammanco boasts extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Power Plant North at Enel Group since May 1991, where oversight of the operation and maintenance of the CCGT power plant in Northern Italy is a primary responsibility. Fabio has held several significant roles within Enel, including Global Head of Network Analysis, Design, and Planning for Enel Grids, managing an international team and overseeing grid analysis and technical planning across eight countries. Additionally, Fabio has led global standardization efforts for high, medium, and low voltage grid components, focusing on technical specifications to enhance cost effectiveness and operational efficiency. Previous roles include Director of Planning and Standardization at Endesa Distribución Eléctrica and leadership positions in network development and operations at Enel, complemented by an educational background in electrical engineering from Università degli Studi di Palermo and executive training from Harvard Business School.
