Troy Nietschmann

Troy Nietschmann, MBA, is an accomplished engineering project manager with extensive experience in the nuclear industry. Currently employed at Enercon Services, Inc. since August 2024, Troy previously held the position of Sr. Nuclear Operations Engineer at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from January 2018 to August 2024, managing complex nuclear systems and facility modifications. Prior to that, Troy served in various roles at Duke Energy Corporation, including Sr. Nuclear-Mechanical Design Engineer, where key achievements included developing an emergency reactor "life-support" system and earning regulatory recognition for safety improvements. Troy's career also includes positions at Bechtel Marine Propulsion Corporation, where innovative designs were created for nuclear simulation, and Lockheed Martin, where operational experience was gained in Ohio Class nuclear platforms. Troy holds an MBA in Finance from Washington State University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
