Dr. Christopher Kurz is an experienced professional in translation management and standardization, currently serving as the Head of Translation Management at Enercon GmbH since August 2016. In addition to this role, Dr. Kurz has been a part-time lecturer at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences since 2013, focusing on standardization and translation. As a member of the ISO TC/37 SC 5 Translation & Terminology since 2011, Dr. Kurz contributes as an expert on the German Mirror Committee and leads the project ISO 5060, which evaluates translation output. Previously, Dr. Kurz held positions as Translation Manager at Deutsche Bahn and BMW, managing multilingual projects and overseeing quality and process management. Dr. Kurz's academic credentials include a Doctorate in Translation Quality Management from Leipzig University, complemented by extensive experience in translation and localization for various organizations, including work with Ferrari and SDL International.
