Tony Barnhart

Tony Barnhart has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Tony is currently the Managing Director at EnerConnex, LLC, where they oversee energy consulting and management services for commercial, industrial, government, and utility customers. In this role, they also manage the ECX Marketplace, an online procurement platform for electricity, natural gas, solar, and renewable energy credits.

Prior to their current position, Barnhart worked as an Energy & Sustainability Consultant, serving as a Managing Director. Before that, they held the role of Senior Vice President of Sales and US General Manager at BidEnergy.

Barnhart also has extensive experience with World Energy Solutions (later EnerNOC), where they served as Vice President of Energy Sales and Director of Utility Solutions. Tony held this role for seven years before transitioning to Accent Energy as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development.

Earlier in their career, Barnhart worked at Enron Energy Services as the Director of Sales, and at North American Logistics as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Tony began their career at Access Energy as the Director of Sales.

With over 30 years of experience in the energy industry, Barnhart has developed a strong background in sales, business development, and energy consulting.

Tony Barnhart attended The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA). Their areas of study included Transportation & Logistics and Marketing.

In addition to their formal education, Tony Barnhart obtained a certification in "Humble Leadership: The Power of Relationships, Openness, and Trust" from LinkedIn in January 2022.
