Kaveh Yekta

Kaveh Yekta, MSc., P.Eng. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of engineering and mechanical design. Kaveh is currently working as the Lead Mechanical Development Engineer at EnerCorp, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Essential Energy Services Ltd. as the Engineering Manager from September 2017 to August 2021. Kaveh also served as the Engineering Manager at Leader Energy Services Ltd. from May 2013 to February 2015.

Before their managerial roles, Kaveh worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at SMITH GULF from March 2015 to August 2017. Kaveh also has extensive experience at Schlumberger, where they held various positions including Senior Technical Engineer from June 2008 to December 2012, Senior Operations Field Engineer from July 2006 to June 2008, and Operations Field Engineer from December 2001 to May 2006.

Kaveh began their career as a Mechanical Design Engineer at ARAK Machine Manufacturing Company from January 1999 to November 2001. Overall, with over 20 years of experience, Kaveh brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their roles in the engineering industry.

Kaveh Yekta, MSc., P.Eng. holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary, which was obtained in 2016. Kaveh also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Solid Design) from Sharif University of Technology. In addition to their formal education, Kaveh has obtained various certifications and completed courses in areas such as Autodesk Inventor Professional, Autodesk Nastran In-CAD 2019, hydraulic fracturing, numerical methods, pipelines economics, and advanced thermal interpretation analysis, among others.
