Dr Avi Ratnanesan has worked in the healthcare and wellness industry since 2001. Dr Avi began their career as a Medical Registrar at Greenslopes Private Hospital, where they worked in a range of specialties. Dr Avi then moved to Serono Australia as a Medical Affairs Associate in 2004, before joining Pfizer Australia as an Associate Medical Director in 2005. In 2008, they were promoted to Innovation Manager at Pfizer Australia, and in 2011 they became a Committee Member at AIMIA NSW. In 2012, Dr Ratnanesan founded Energesse, a digital platform that helps leaders and organisations optimise business decisions, outcomes, experiences, and ROI. Dr Avi also became a Keynote Speaker at ICMI Speakers and Entertainers, and Co-Founder & Investor of ProductionParty, a crowdsourcing marketplace startup. Finally, in 2009, they founded Araya Pictures & Mobile Screenfest, an innovative digital startup in the film and entertainment tech industry.
Dr Avi Ratnanesan has an extensive education history. Dr Avi completed their A Levels in 1992 at Methodist College, Kuala Lumpur, and again in 1993 at Raffles Institution. Dr Avi then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at The University of Sheffield, which they completed in 2000. Finally, they completed their Masters in Business Administration (Hons) at The University of Queensland in 2004.
