Jake Taylor

Jake Taylor, P.Eng. is a qualified engineer with extensive experience in structural engineering and transmission line design. Currently serving as a Transmission Line Engineer at Énergie NB Power since October 2025, Jake previously held the position of Associate and Team Manager at Dillon Consulting Limited from September 2023 to November 2025 and was a Regional Director for Western Operations at Varcon Inc. from January 2013 to September 2023. Throughout the career, Jake has been involved in structural steel design and analysis for communication towers across Canada, ensuring compliance with CSA S37-13 standards. Earlier experience includes roles as a Geotechnical Summer Student at Stantec and as a Student Associate at Varcon Inc. Jake holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Dalhousie University, a Certificate of Applied Science from Acadia University, and has completed leadership and communication training through Dale Carnegie Training.
