Ellert Traustason

Ellert Traustason is a seasoned electrical engineering professional with extensive experience in leading design and engineering teams across various companies. Currently serving as Senior Design Lead at Energinet since September 2025, previous roles include Lead Electrical Engineer at BioCirc and Senior Engineer at Energinet. Notably, Ellert has held significant positions at Ramboll as Chief Specialist in Electrical Engineering, as well as at Total and Maersk Oil, where responsibilities included electrical engineering and project management for major projects. Early career experience includes project engineering roles at YIT Oil & Gas, ABB Esbjerg, and Lodam Automatik, focusing on offshore electrical design and automation. Ellert holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Power Transmission Installation from the University of Southern Denmark.
