Morgan Thomas is currently serving as a Commercial and Procurement Graduate at Energus, having joined in September 2023. Energus has become a venue for local, national and international events since its opening in 2009. Ideally situated at Lillyhall in Workington, along Britain's Energy Coast and within easy reach of both Workington and Whitehaven town centres; Energus provides Cumbria with world class facilities for events, exhibitions and conferences. Floor to ceiling windows along with contemporary décor give the conference rooms and exhibition areas a light and airy feel. Each area is versatile allowing a variety of events and functions to be held here. This unique facility helps plug the significant gap in venue and event management for local businesses across Cumbria and the North of England, continuing to contribute to the establishment of Britain's Energy Coast. Energus work with the NDA and employers in the Nuclear Industry to develop the workforce of tomorrow. We manage Training and Development Programmes at various levels including Apprenticehips, higher level learning and graduate programmes including the prestigious nucleargraduates programme. Energus is the North West flagship delivery centre for the National Skills Academy for Nuclear. A dedicated centre of excellence offering a range of training, education and business support services geared to providing and enhancing skills within both the local and national nuclear workforce.
