Shaun Stanger CMgr MCMI TechIOSH CIWFM is an experienced facilities management professional with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as General Manager at Energus since March 2011, Shaun excels in various aspects of facility management, including staff relocation, office equipment installations, and security access management for a workforce of up to 750. Previous roles include Facilities Operations at Interserve and Planned Care at the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust, along with experience as a Bistro owner and Autocad Technician. Shaun's early career includes positions as a Communications Technician in the Royal Fleet Auxiliary and a Radio Operator in the Royal Navy. Education was completed at Keswick School from 1984 to 1990.

Energus has become a venue for local, national and international events since its opening in 2009. Ideally situated at Lillyhall in Workington, along Britain's Energy Coast and within easy reach of both Workington and Whitehaven town centres; Energus provides Cumbria with world class facilities for events, exhibitions and conferences. Floor to ceiling windows along with contemporary décor give the conference rooms and exhibition areas a light and airy feel. Each area is versatile allowing a variety of events and functions to be held here. This unique facility helps plug the significant gap in venue and event management for local businesses across Cumbria and the North of England, continuing to contribute to the establishment of Britain's Energy Coast. Energus work with the NDA and employers in the Nuclear Industry to develop the workforce of tomorrow. We manage Training and Development Programmes at various levels including Apprenticehips, higher level learning and graduate programmes including the prestigious nucleargraduates programme. Energus is the North West flagship delivery centre for the National Skills Academy for Nuclear. A dedicated centre of excellence offering a range of training, education and business support services geared to providing and enhancing skills within both the local and national nuclear workforce.
