Steve Guillot Pe

Steve Guillot is a seasoned reservoir engineer with extensive experience in enhanced oil recovery and reservoir management. Currently serving as a Distinguished Reservoir Engineer at the Energy & Environmental Research Center since January 2022, Guillot previously held roles as an Independent Consultant and Reservoir Engineering Advisor at Denbury Resources Inc., where significant contributions included leading technical teams on CO2 projects and enhancing injection practices. With a robust background as the Director of Reservoir Engineering at Chaparral Energy and a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Kinder Morgan, Guillot has demonstrated a strong ability to improve production through innovative strategies and mentorship. Notable achievements include overseeing a successful acquisition program that increased production by over 30,000 BOPD and earning the Hart's Oil and Gas World's "Best Improved Recovery Award" in 1997 for outstanding contributions at Texaco. Steve Guillot holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of New Orleans.
