Tami Votava

Tami J. Votava is the CFO at the EERC, where she has responsibility for the leadership and management of the EERC’s research support teams, which includes the areas of financial services, contracts, budget and fund management, human resources, communications, and employee engagement. She conducts short- and long-range financial forecasting, evaluates and monitors business metrics, develops the annual budget and leads the budget process, implements effective internal control procedures, and effectively communicates financial information to various stakeholders. She also leads collaborative efforts to ensure that the EERC business units are responsive to EERC objectives. Ms. Votava has held a variety of positions at the EERC over the past 23 years, which have provided her with a depth of experience in both the research and administrative sectors. Prior to her current position, she served as the Director of Business and Finance at the EERC.

Ms. Votava received her Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of North Dakota. Prior to her current position, Ms. Votava served as the Director of Business and Finance. She also served as Assistant Director for Finance, Senior Accountant and Budget Analysis Group Lead.
