John W. Rowe, president emeritus of the Exelon Corporation, is one of the nation’s foremost business leaders in energy. He has served on the Secretary of Energy’s Blue Ribbon Commission on America’s Nuclear Future and co-chaired the National Commission on Energy Policy. He is a director of the Northern Trust Company, the Allstate Corporation, and SunCoke Energy. An active member of Chicago’s philanthropic community he currently chairs the Field Museum, the Illinois Institute of Technology, and the New Schools, and sits on the boards of the Morgridge Institute for Research, OneChicago, and the Illinois Holocaust Museum.
