Frank Filas

VP Permitting & Environmental Affairs at Energy Fuels

Frank Filas has a significant work history in the environmental and engineering field. Frank started their career as an Environmental Engineer at Western States Minerals Corporation in 1989 and later worked as a Project Supervisor at Canonie Environmental Services from 1991 to 1997. Frank then served as the Environmental Manager at Nevada Goldfields Corporation from 1997 to 1999. In 2000, they joined EnecoTech Inc. as a Project Manager and stayed there until 2002. Following that, they worked as a Senior Environmental Engineer at Smith Environmental and Engineering from 2002 to 2005. Finally, they joined Energy Fuels Resources in 2006 as the VP of Permitting & Environmental Affairs.

Frank Filas completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1973 and 1978. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Science & Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, which they completed between 1995 and 1996.
