Thomas Mendelin

Thomas Mendelin is currently an Analytics Engineer and Associate Vice President at Energy Infrastructure Partners, a position held since January 2023. Previously, Thomas served as a Data Scientist at Credit Suisse from December 2016 to November 2022, where responsibilities included spatial analysis, machine learning, econometrics, and the automation of data analytics reports and visualizations. Prior roles also at Credit Suisse included working as an Economist Staff on Call and an Intern in Economic Research, focusing on economic analysis and programming. Thomas gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Université de Genève, contributing to data gathering and database management for a project on financial industry enforcement, and as a Junior Research Assistant at the University of Basel, involved in labour market economics research. Academically, Thomas holds a Master of Arts in Business Innovation from the University of St. Gallen and a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from the University of Basel, with additional studies as an exchange student at the University of Vienna.
