Laura Piraino

Laura Piraino is an experienced community engagement and outreach specialist with a focus on sustainability initiatives. Currently serving as a Community Engagement Specialist at Energy Infrastructure Partners and an Account Manager and Finance Specialist for the NYC Accelerator Program, Laura provides support for energy efficiency and clean energy upgrades, assisting building owners with compliance to relevant local laws and financing options. Previous roles include Strategic Planning Project Manager at the New York City Housing Authority, Associate Director for the Master’s in Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy at The Earth Institute at Columbia University, and Outreach Coordinator for the Recycling Champions Program at Grow NYC. Laura has a strong background in program planning and implementation, with recognized achievements in increasing program size and engagement strategies. Laura holds educational credentials from Penn State University and the University at Albany.
