Dr Wale Aboyade

Dr. Wale Aboyade possesses extensive experience in the energy sector, serving as a Fellow at the Energy Institute and holding prominent positions such as Global Director for Government Enablement and Acting Regional Head for Africa at The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP). Previous roles include Senior Energy Specialist at USAID and Co-Founder of Protergia Energy Nigeria Ltd. Additionally, Dr. Aboyade served as Senior Manager for the Green Economy and Head of the Climate Innovation Centre in South Africa at The Innovation Hub. Academic qualifications include an Executive Certificate in Infrastructure in a Market Economy with a focus on Public Private Partnerships from Harvard Kennedy School and a PVsyst Training Course in Solar PV Design from Stellenbosch University.
