Emma McIvor

Emma McIvor has extensive experience in safety management within the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Manager for SafetyOn and Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR) at the Energy Institute since April 2019. Previously, Emma held roles as Technical Manager and Technical Officer, where responsibilities included managing technical work programs, delivering training courses, and analyzing health and safety incident data to improve performance in the onshore wind industry. Emma's earlier experience includes project management at Action Renewables and project coordination at Linden Foods Ltd, along with a project officer role at the Education Authority in Northern Ireland. Emma holds a Master's Degree in Sustainable Development from Queen's University Belfast and a Bachelor of Science from Ulster University.
