Gunel A. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications, project management, and advocacy in science and engineering. Currently serving as a Communications Officer and Committee Member at the Energy Institute Benevolent Fund, Gunel also holds the position of Founder and Director at Azerbaijan Women in Science. Gunel has participated in various impactful roles including Jury Member for the Chemistry & Chemical Engineering Category at the Sabahin Alimleri Project and as a coach for the UNDP's Women in STEM mentorship program. With a robust academic background, Gunel obtained a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Edinburgh and has completed significant training in sustainable development and entrepreneurship.
