Joshua Hertzer

Joshua Hertzer's work experience includes a role as a Project Manager at Energy Management Collaborative (EMC) since January 2020. In this position, they manage overall project accountability, plans and reports on projects, communicates issues to customers, and monitors project financials. Prior to that, Joshua worked as a Server at Eddie Merlot's Prime Aged Beef and Seafood from 2008 to 2021. Joshua also served as a PACE Financing Project/ Operations Manager at Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance from October 2017 to January 2020, where they managed closing coordination and database oversight for PACE financing projects. From 2014 to 2017, Joshua worked as an Engineering Project Manager at HP Energy, LLC, where they were responsible for implementing energy efficiency retrofits, managing project estimation and design, and overseeing commercial building design and construction. Joshua also held the position of Commercial Operations Associate at Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance from 2012 to 2014, where they processed grant contributions and managed contractors for retrofit projects. Joshua's early work experience includes a role as an Assembly Assistant at Melink Corporation from 2011 to 2012, where they documented assembly processes, oversaw inventory checks, and completed warranty checklists using Excel.

Joshua Hertzer began their education at the University of Cincinnati in 1997, where they studied Engineering. Joshua attended the university until 2000, but did not obtain a degree during that time.

In 2010, Joshua enrolled at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and pursued a degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology with a focus on Renewable Energy and Efficiency. Joshua completed their studies in 2013 and obtained a degree in the mentioned field of study.

Following this, in 2015, Joshua returned to the University of Cincinnati and earned a Bachelor of Technical and Applied Studies degree with a specialization in Business Administration. Joshua completed their studies in 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Joshua Hertzer has obtained several certifications. Joshua obtained the "OSHA 30 Hour: Construction" certification from OSHA in January 2015. In November 2014, they obtained the "Certified Installer" certification from Small Box Energy. In December 2013, they completed the "eQUEST online" certification program offered by Energy-Models.com. Lastly, they obtained the "OSHA 10 Certification" from ClickSafety in June 2012.
