Cheryl Cortegiani

Cheryl Cortegiani has over 16 years of work experience in the energy industry. In 2004, they began their career as a Sales and Service Representative at YESCO. Cheryl then moved to Fluoresco Lighting & Signs in 2006, where they worked as an Assistant Branch Manager- Sales. In 2008, they took on the role of Senior Area Sales Executive at Pitney Bowes. Cheryl then joined Canon Business Solutions in 2011 as a Regional Account Manager. In 2012, they became an Operations Trainer at Sunrun, where they were promoted to Client Solutions Manager/Lead Analyst. In 2017, they joined Tesla as a CAMG Trainer. Cheryl then moved to Willdan in 2018, where they held the roles of Direct Install Sales Manager, Assistant Program Manager California Programs, and Deputy Program Manager/Sales Manager. Most recently, they joined Energy Management Corporation in 2022 as a Business Development Executive and Project Specialist.

Cheryl Cortegiani completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration and Management, Summa Cum Laude, at Capella University between 2011 and 2014. Cheryl is currently enrolled at Capella University, working towards a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Additionally, Cheryl is enrolled at the University of Denver, where they are pursuing an MS in Environmental Policy/Energy & Sustainability. Cheryl has also obtained several certifications, including Electric Industry Operations and Markets from Coursera in 2021, Energy Auditing Techniques for Small & Medium Commercial Facilities from Pacific Gas and Electric Company in 2021, Restaurant Rebound Operating an Energy Efficient Kitchen from Pacific Gas and Electric Company in 2021, Microsoft Excel Advanced - Formulas & Functions from Udemy in 2021, ZNE (Zero Net Energy) Introduction from Pacific Gas and Electric Company in 2021, and HubSpot Sales Software from HubSpot in 2021.
