Darren Hortin

Darren Hortin, MBA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Energy Management Corporation since August 2023. Previously, Darren held the CFO position at Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee from June 2021 to August 2023 and served as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller at Amazing Brands from June 2020 to June 2021. Between May 2006 and May 2020, Darren was the V.P. & Corporate Controller at Cafe Rio Mexican Grill, also taking on the role of Interim Chief Financial Officer during this period. Earlier career experience includes various accounting positions at USANA Health Sciences, Inc. from October 1996 to May 2006, culminating in roles such as General Ledger Manager and Assistant Controller. Darren earned an MBA in Business/Accounting from Westminster University and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Utah.
