Kris Narasimhan has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. They are currently working as a Business Consultant for Energy Network in their New York office. In their previous position as a Senior Director at AMMI Risk Solutions, they oversaw various aspects of nuclear program development and coordinated a supply chain consortium team focused on SMR technologies and industry collaboration. Before that, they served as a Nuclear Product Manager at AMETEK Specialty Metal Products. Additionally, they have experience in metallurgical engineering and materials consulting program management. Kris also worked at Westinghouse Electric Company as a Business Development and Supply Program Manager, at Kennametal as a Global Marketing Manager for Milling Products, and at Valenite as a Project Manager, where they initiated production standardization guidelines and worked on large integrated projects.

Kris Narasimhan obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Materials Engineering from Michigan State University from 1982 to 1986. Prior to that, from 1973 to 1978, they earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi.

In addition to their formal education, Kris Narasimhan has obtained various certifications. These include Impromptu Speaking and Inclusive Mindset, which were obtained from LinkedIn in October 2020.
