Rick Smith

Rick Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Rick started their career as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Gartner Group, where they played a crucial role in improving sales productivity and significantly increasing revenue. Rick then moved on to become the Managing Director at Maximum Performance Group, providing management consulting to various federal government agencies and focusing on business/IT alignment.

In 2009, Rick joined Deloitte Consulting LLC as a Senior Specialist Leader, specializing in business transformation for the Navy and GSA. Rick also worked on modifying the Center for Innovation briefings and creating client workshop deliverables to facilitate the innovation process.

Rick's expertise in enterprise architecture and business solutions led him to hold positions such as Chief Solution Architect at Maximum Performance Group and Lead Enterprise Architect and Project Manager at Millsapps, Ballinger, & Associates. During their time in these roles, Rick contributed to the development of innovative methodologies and models to improve government service provisioning and citizen relationship management.

Rick's career also includes positions as Senior Enterprise Architect at 22nd Century Technologies Inc. and RCM Solutions, where they focused on enterprise architecture. Rick then joined Citizant as a Senior Agile, Cloud Business Transformation Engineer, contributing to the company's agile and cloud-based transformation initiatives.

Most recently, Rick joined Energy Network as an Operations Optimization Specialist. Overall, Rick has a strong background in business and IT consulting, specializing in optimization, transformation, and enterprise architecture.

Rick Smith attended Swarthmore College from 1963 to 1967, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
