Guy Porlier is an experienced professional in energy management and education, currently serving as Program Manager for Strategic Energy Management at Energy Performance Services since November 2022. Previous positions include High School Teacher at Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l'Ontario and Director of Energy Optimization at SHIFT Energy, where responsibilities included designing and implementing energy optimization strategies. With a background as an Energy Management Specialist at Energent Incorporated, Guy Porlier excelled in client deployments and developing data collection systems, while earlier roles as an HVAC Engineer and Energy Auditor at Efficiency Engineering Inc. demonstrated expertise in energy-efficient building design and audits. Education includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics and Physics from Nipissing University.
