Ben Verdon

Ben Verdon is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as General Manager at Energy Queensland since June 2024. Prior roles include Electricity Portfolio Manager at PetroChina International from July 2022 to October 2024, and Forward Markets Manager at CleanCo Queensland from July 2019 to July 2022, focusing on forward electricity and renewable energy markets. Ben Verdon has also held positions such as Trading Manager at Ergon Energy Retail from April 2008 to May 2019, Trader at ConAgra Trade Group Inc from August 2006 to April 2008, and Short Term Trader at Ergon Energy from August 2000 to July 2006.
