Imraan Khan has extensive experience in the energy and electrical engineering industry. Imraan started their career in 2006 as a Distribution Control Engineer at Saudi Electricity Company. Imraan then joined Ergon Energy in 2008 and held various roles including Operations Control Centre Manager, Concept Design Engineer, and Substation Design Engineer. At Ergon Energy, they were responsible for detailed calculations, research, and analysis in electrical design projects, as well as reviewing capital project designs to ensure compliance with company standards. In 2016, Imraan worked as an Electricity Operations Manager at AusNet Services before joining Energy Queensland in 2017 as a Substation Design Engineer - Lead. In this current role, they provide professional engineering advice, manages design teams, and ensures the successful delivery of projects.
