Sameera Samarasinghe

Sameera Samarasinghe, PhD, currently serves as an Asset Strategy Engineer at Energy Queensland, focusing on the lifecycle management of electrical assets to enhance the reliability of Queensland's electricity infrastructure. In addition, Sameera is a member of the Course Reference Committee for the Master of Engineering at CQUniversity and engages as a Guest Lecturer and Industry Supervisor at The University of Queensland, delivering lectures on various topics in asset management and power systems. Previously, Sameera worked as a Consultant Asset Management at EA Technology Australia, developing condition-based risk management models for electrical assets. Educational credentials include a PhD from The University of Queensland, an M.Sc.Eng. from the University of Peradeniya, and a B.Sc.Eng. (Hons) from the University of Peradeniya, with prior teaching and research experience in high voltage engineering and asset management.
