Meredith Callahan

Meredith Callahan is a seasoned professional in sustainability and ESG, currently serving as Senior Director of Sustainability and ESG at Energy Recovery, Inc. since February 2021, after holding roles as Director and Senior Manager in the same domain. Prior experience includes working as a Strategy Specialist at Dollar Tree Stores and a significant tenure at Operation Smile, where roles ranged from Vice President to Program Coordinator in International Programs. Callahan began a career in community organization as a Community Organizer at Empower Hampton Roads and served as a Sustainable Development Consultant with the Peace Corps. Academic qualifications include an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a BA in English and Environmental Studies from Washington and Lee University, supplemented by study at Universidade Federal do Amazonas.
