Jon Saltmarsh

Jon Saltmarsh is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Energy Systems Catapult, where Jon leads the technical direction of the company and develops an innovation strategy to support net zero. Prior to this role, Jon held various positions at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, where Jon provided technical evidence and advice to support the Department's policies. Jon also has experience at QinetiQ, where Jon held leadership roles in strategy and programme management. Jon began their career at the UK Ministry of Defence, where Jon was part of a 'think tank' developing long term policy options. Jon holds a MA in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Business Administration from Cranfield School of Management.
