Jim Cencer

Jim Cencer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs) and Utility Energy Savings Performance Contracts (UESCs). Currently serving as Federal Project Developer IV at Energy Systems Group since December 2017, Jim oversees both technical and financial project aspects while collaborating with the Business Development team. Previously, Jim worked at Siemens Government Technologies as a Senior Federal Project Developer, where responsibilities included overseeing schedules, budgets, and project management. Earlier roles at Trane and Honeywell involved leading project development for federal government projects and engineering solutions for ESPC projects, respectively. With a career beginning at Dayton Power and Light, Jim possesses a diverse background in energy management and engineering, supported by a Master's in Management Science and a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Dayton.
