Christopher M. Hefty

Chris Hefty was appointed Senior Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions in October 2019. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the strategy and execution of corporate mergers and acquisitions, asset acquisitions and divestitures, and strategic partnerships. Prior to joining Energy Transfer in 2019, Mr. Hefty spent more than a decade as an investment banker, most recently with the Natural Resources Group at Barclays and prior to that with Lehman Brothers, advising clients on capital markets and strategic transactions. Mr. Hefty holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Economics and Finance from Baylor University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
