Grant Ruckel has a diverse work experience in government affairs and political campaigns. Grant started their career as an aide in the Texas Senate in 2001. Grant then worked as a finance director for a congressional campaign and as a grassroots director for a state senate campaign in 2002. In 2002, they also became the chief of staff for the Texas House of Representatives. From 2004 to 2008, they served as the chief of staff for the Office of Rep. Myra Crownover. In 2008, they joined ONEOK as a manager of government affairs for the South & East regions. In 2012, they moved to Energy Transfer and held roles as a senior director and later as a vice president in government affairs.
Grant Ruckel attended Texas A&M University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Prior to that, they attended Nacogdoches High School.
