Energy Vanguard's ultimate goal is to make homes better for the people who live in them and to reduce the negative impacts of buildings on the Earth. We do this by:

• Training in green building and home energy ratings
• Advising and mentoring new home performance business owners
• Calculating home heating & cooling loads (Manual J) and designing duct systems (Manual D)
• Informing homeowners and builders about tax credits and rebates and helping them qualify when possible
• Helping homeowners improve their homes'​ performance
