Allison A. Bailes III

Allison A. Bailes III, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. In 2008, they founded Energy Vanguard, LLC where they served as the Founder, President, and Chief Troublemaker, authoring the Energy Vanguard Blog, a weekly newsletter, and a book about residential energy performance. Allison A. also served as a Board Member for the Passive House Institute US (PHIUS) from 2013 to 2022. Additionally, they worked as an Instructor for HeatSpring, teaching an online building science course from 2014 to 2017. Allison A. Bailes III, PhD received their education in a chronological order. Allison A. first attended South Terrebonne High School from 1977 to 1979. Allison A. then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, achieving Magna Cum Laude honors, at Centenary College of Louisiana from 1979 to 1983. Later, they attended the University of Florida and obtained a Master's degree, a Master of Science Teaching degree, and eventually a PhD in Physics from 1991 to 1998.
