Alvaro Gianola

Alvaro Gianola has extensive work experience in human resources, with a focus on HR operations, systems, and processes. Alvaro has held various management roles in notable companies such as Energy Vault, Amgen, and gategroup. In their most recent role at Energy Vault, they served as the Director of People Operations for Europe, overseeing the full employee lifecycle and establishing HR infrastructure in multiple countries. At Amgen, they held positions such as Senior Manager of Human Resources for the Intercontinental region, HR Systems & Processes Manager for multiple regions, and Manager of HR Connect (interim) for Europe, TMEA, JAPAC. Alvaro successfully led global teams, supported acquisitions and market entries, and implemented HRIS projects. Prior to Amgen, they worked as a Project Manager for HR Information Management at gategroup. Alvaro's work experience also includes managing HR operations for international expansions at Amgen and working as an HR Recruitment Officer at Global Petroprojects Services AG.

Alvaro Gianola pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 2003 to 2005, they attended USI Università della Svizzera italiana, where they obtained a BA in Corporate Communication. Alvaro furthered their studies at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2005 to 2006, completing an MBA degree in Business Administration and Management. In 2011 to 2012, Alvaro attended Cranfield School of Management, earning an MSc in International Human Resources Management with a specialization in HR. Additionally, they hold several certifications including Ulysses certified coach, CEB HR Leadership Academy, Adept 15 certified coach, and SHL Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ) certified practitioner. Alvaro also obtained a Business English Diploma and has completed the Test of English as a Foreign Language.
