Craig Horne

Craig Horne has extensive work experience in the energy industry, particularly in the field of energy storage. Craig currently holds the position of Vice President, Advanced Energy Solutions at Energy Vault. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Kainos Consulting, LLC.

Craig has also served in various advisory and board member roles. Craig was a West Coast Advisory Board Member at UF Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering and a Board Member at Energy Storage Association (ESA). Craig also served as an Advisor on the technical advisory board at Amprius.

In terms of leadership roles, Craig served as the Managing Director - Energy Storage at Wellhead Electric Company, Inc., where they focused on energy storage projects. Craig was also the Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder at EnerVault Corporation, where they led the company's product marketing and strategy efforts. Additionally, they served as the CEO and Co-Founder of EnerVault, leading the company's incorporation and funding strategy.

Craig's experience includes creating storage integration businesses, developing partnerships, and establishing approaches to solar-storage hybridization. Craig has worked with project developers, utilities, government agencies, and other stakeholders worldwide. Overall, Craig Horne brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the energy storage sector.

Craig Horne obtained a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Craig also completed a Master's degree in Materials Science & Engineering at UCLA. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science & Engineering with High Honors from the University of Florida.
