Omar Aoun

Omar Aoun currently serves as the Vice President of Sales at Energy Vault SA, leading initiatives to accelerate global decarbonization through sustainable energy storage technologies since September 2021. Prior to this role, Omar was the Director of Sales and Business Development for the Americas at Samsung SDI, where responsibilities included managing a sales team and collaborating with electric utilities to implement energy storage solutions from October 2014 to September 2021. Omar's earlier experience includes serving as the Solar Origination Leader at SunEdison Semiconductor, focusing on solar distributed generation projects, and holding the position of Director of Power Generation & Energy Users Sales at GE Power, where business strategy and sales management were key focuses. Educational qualifications include an MBA and a Graduate Certificate in Financial Valuation & Investment Analysis from USC Marshall School of Business, alongside a BS in Electrical Engineering from American University of Beirut.
