Reinhard Sander has had a long and varied career in engineering and technology. Reinhard is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Energy Vault, starting in May 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of VP of Engineering & Technology at Goldwind from May 2017 to May 2022. Reinhard also worked at Nordex, where they held the position of Vice President of Engineering from November 2008 to April 2017. At Nordex, their responsibilities included leadership in wind farm projects, technology support, and building and growing engineering teams. Before Nordex, Reinhard worked at Rite-Hite Corp., where they held various positions such as Director of Engineering and Engineering Manager. Reinhard'sresponsibilities at Rite-Hite included leading redesigns of product lines, managing international product development, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Overall, Reinhard has a wealth of experience in engineering leadership, product development, and project management.
Reinhard Sander holds an MBA from Marquette University, obtained in the year 2001. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design and Automation Technology at Ruhr University Bochum from 1987 to 1993, earning the title of Diplom-Ingenieur. In terms of certifications, Sander obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services in July 2008, as well as a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2004.
