Jose Arellano

As the electricity market in Mexico prepared for deregulation, Jose Arellano envisioned an opportunity to bring 5’s advisory services to business clients throughout the county. As a result of his business plan and dedication to the project, some of Mexico’s largest companies are leveraging the strategic advice they receive from 5 to better impact the environment and their own bottom line.

In his role as a Senior Vice President at 5, Jose helps the company to launch new service offerings while also working directly with clients throughout North America. Jose started his career working in Mexico City for Accenture and the Retail Division of the Carso Group. Jose also spent many years on the supplier side of the deregulated energy industry working for both First Choice Power and Direct Energy.

Jose has a master’s degree in Finance and Economics from La Salle University where he also graduated with his CPA as an undergrad.
