Jessica Hobbs serves as EnergyCAP’s Vice President of People and Culture and is based out of Denver, Colorado. In this role, Jessica leads the human resource strategy for the organization, to promote an inclusive and engaged culture and workforce, to develop leaders and employees, and to acquire develop, reward and retain top talent.
Hobbs has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources in a variety of industries. She is passionate about developing high-performance cultures and cultivating employee growth and development.
Prior to EnergyCAP, Hobbs held the role of Regional HR Director with TEGNA Media where she led HR for 9NEWs Denver and several stations in the West. In this role she supported the company’s accelerated growth through mergers and acquisition. Prior to TEGNA, Hobbs was HR Director for American Midstream, LP, a natural gas and crude oil midstream company that grew from start-up to IPO during her five years there. Prior to American Midstream, LP, Jessica held HR leadership roles in the insurance industry in New York City and Dublin, Ireland.
Jessica received her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. Jessica is active in the Denver community and serves on the Craig Hospital Board, which is a world-renowned research and rehabilitation hospital for people with spinal and brain injury.
