Jim Schauer

Jim Schauer has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jim is currently the Vice President at Energy Worldnet (EWN) and holds the position of Executive Director-Strategic Alliances. Jim's role at EWN aligns with their goal of bringing industry people together, combining resources and connections, and making the world a safer place to work.

Before joining EWN, Jim served as the Chief Executive Officer-Managing Director and Board of Directors member at Thigpen Energy. During their tenure, they were able to significantly increase revenue and reduce costs while maintaining a strong focus on safety, achieving three consecutive years without any incidents. Additionally, they held the position of Global Director & Sr. Vice President, Marketing and Sales LNG-Global at Thigpen Energy.

Jim's earlier career includes roles at CenterPoint Energy, where they served as CES Gulf Coast Energy and Intrastate Pipeline Sales, Regional Sales Manager-Gulf Coast, Manager-Sales Natural Gas Commodity Gulf Coast (CNG/LNG), and Manager-Energy Sales. Jim played a key role in connecting people in the Gulf Coast region with energy solutions and oversaw the delivery of billions of cubic feet of natural gas annually.

Prior to their time at CenterPoint Energy, Jim worked at Chart Industries, Inc. as a Regional Sales Manager, specializing in LNG solutions and strategies for distribution and storage in the Gulf Coast and Southern USA regions.

Jim's early career experiences include roles as a Regional Account Manager at IHS Markit, GE Capital IT Solutions, and IBM.

Throughout their career, Jim Schauer has demonstrated a track record of leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for the energy industry.

Jim Schauer obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication-Public Relations from Winona State University in 1986. Jim also completed minors in Business and Sociology during their time at the university. Additionally, they hold a certification as a C.P.O. from NSPF, although the exact date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
