Mick Wierenga

Mick Wierenga has a diverse work experience beginning in 2012. From 2012-2014, they worked as a Head Teacher & Coordinator at Lyceo, a Teacher at StudentsPlus, and a Data Analyst at Erasmus School of Economics. In 2014, they completed an Internship at Trans Global Projects. From 2016-2021, they worked at EY, First Consulting, and Energyworx. At EY, they were a Graduate Intern Financial Services Risk. At First Consulting, they were a Business Consultant at RNHB, Nationale Nederlanden, Greenchoice, and Delta Lloyd, as well as a Senior Process Analyst at Nationale Nederlanden. At Energyworx, they were VP Software Development & IT-ops, Director of Engineering, and Engineering Manager.

Mick Wierenga has a comprehensive educational background. In 2005, they attended Dalton Lyceum Barendrecht and obtained an Atheneum in NT & NG in 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they attended Erasmus University Rotterdam and obtained a BSc Econometrics & Operational Research in Quantitative Finance. Mick then continued their studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam and obtained an MSc Econometrics and Management Science in Quantitative Finance in 2016. Additionally, Mick has obtained several certifications, including DevOps Foundation (DOI certified) from DevOn in 2020, Professional Agile Leadership from Scrum.org in 2019, and PSM I from Scrum.org in 2018.
