Enerplus Corporation (Enerplus) is an energy producer with a diversified portfolio of crude oil and natural gas assets. Enerplus' oil and natural gas property interests are located in the United States, primarily in North Dakota, Montana, Colorado and Pennsylvania, as well as in western Canada in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Enerplus' primary focus is on developing its crude oil assets in North Dakota. Enerplus's operations are concentrated in the core of the Bakken/Three Forks light oil shale play where it holds approximately 65, 000 net acres on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation. Enerplus holds an interest in approximately 36, 000 net acres in the dry gas window of the Marcellus shale in northeast Pennsylvania.
